A lifelong organization for social justice and women's empowerment, we tirelessly worked to challenge societal norms that marginalize and disenfranchise women and girls’.

 

We have raised awareness about the plight of women and girls affected by violence and discrimination. We have implemented various programs and initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable women and girls, providing them with access to education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities, etc.

Theme: Dignity and Justice for African Widows: Widows' Rights are Human Rights

 

This event brings together advocates, researchers, and widows to discuss challenges faced by widows in Africa. 


Key topics likely include:

 

Inhumane traditional practices

Property rights

Social stigma

Economic empowerment 

Legal protections, etc.

 

The conference aims to promote dignity, justice, and human rights for African widows, fostering a supportive community and driving change.
